Ballet:

Our Classical Ballet classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. An organisation recognised and revered throughout the world. Children can work their way through the syllabus grades, with the option to take an exam before moving up to the next level.  Exams are not compulsory. 

Acro:

Acrobatic Dance (Acro) is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements.  Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling, and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.  

Our Acro classes follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, which seamlessly blends musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context. Children can work their way through the syllabus grades with the option to take an exam before moving up to the next level. Exams are not compulsory.

Jazz:

Jazz is a theatrical style of dance often performed to well-known music or songs. Jazz classes focus on the technique of Jumps, turns, kicks, isolations, and choreography. Classes generally start with a cardio warm up, followed by stretching and flexibility work, travelling movements across the floor often referred to as corner work, and culminating with a fun dance routine. Jazz is a lively and upbeat class that is hugely popular with our students.

Street Dance:

Street Dance covers a range of styles including Jazz, Commercial and hip hop.  It’s an exciting and energetic class, often using current music by popular artists. 

Contemporary:

Contemporary is all about expressing emotion through movement and unrestricted lines. It is a multifaceted style that blends techniques from various other dance genres, including classical ballet, jazz, modern dance, and lyrical dance. Contemporary focuses a lot on floor work, and individual interpretation of movement. The lesson starts with a warmup, followed by travelling and corner work, finishing with a routine.
